The Prospector was created in the late 1920's by the Chestnut Canoe Company of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and was designed to give the paddler maximum maneuverability in rapids and lakes, as well as to provide an extra large carrying capacity.
"I've never seen anything that equals the Chestnut Prospector for an all round canoe." - Bill Mason |
